The 30-minute weekly AI routine that beats every productivity hack

What to do every Sunday so your stack actually compounds.

TL;DR

  • 0110 min: prune custom GPTs / projects you didn't use this week
  • 0210 min: save 3 new prompts that worked, delete 3 that didn't
  • 035 min: scan the week's AI news for ONE thing to try this week
  • 045 min: pick ONE workflow you still do manually — schedule it for Monday
  • 05Repeat. This compounds harder than any new tool.

§01

Why this beats 'try every new tool'

Every week brings a new model, a new agent framework, a new launch. You can't chase them all. The teams who win in 2026 aren't the ones with the newest stack — they're the ones whose existing stack gets sharper week over week.

This 30-minute Sunday routine is the compounding move.

§02

The routine

10 min — Prune. Open your Custom GPTs, Claude Projects, Cursor rules. Anything you didn't use this week, archive. Cognitive load is real.

10 min — Curate your prompt library. Find 3 prompts you ran this week that genuinely worked. Save them with a 1-line note on WHY. Delete 3 that didn't.

5 min — Triage AI news. One scan. One thing worth testing this week. Not five. One.

5 min — Pick one workflow you still do by hand. Block 30 min on Monday to automate it (or at least prompt-ify it).

Tip

Do this with a friend. 30 minutes on a Sunday call is the cheapest mastermind you'll ever join.
